No one is graduated from becoming more like Christ. We aren’t going to pretend.

You Won’t Get Lost In the Crowd

Our main meeting room is upstairs, and seats 100 maximum. You’re going to be greeted by a bunch of friendly people - we hope you are OK with that. People are going to ask you questions and find commonalities. It’s a pretty warm group.

We Are Ready For Kids

Upstairs we have a nursery as an option, where you can stay engaged in the church service. There are lots of young families with noisy kids and we love it. Your kids are welcome, you don’t have to use the nursery, but there’s toys and privacy there. We have a Kids Class on Sundays after the worship songs, but if kids want to stay with you that’s fine. Teens meet as a group midweek for fun and spiritual learning.

Not a Boring Church

Our worship music is louder than some, because we are celebrating what God has done for us. We clap, encourage everyone to sing with lyrics presented, and some jump or dance. The preaching is also often excited, compelling with faith, and seeks to be a catalyst to change.

Some People Dress Up

but not everyone - and that’s fine. We would rather you come now and get involved, then wait to find some specific clothes. The ministry team will show their respect for you, God, and their role by wearing good clothes but don’t let this put you off.

People are Receiving the Holy Ghost

Just like Jesus promised, and Isaiah prophesied, people will likely be speaking in tongues in our church services. We do not teach how to do this, we preach this is only done “as the Spirit gives the utterance.” If you want to receive the Spirit of God we will pray with you to have the real experience.

We Believe in Praying for Healing, Help, and Wholeness

Someone may ask if they can pray with you, it is OK to decline. But we have been seeing people be healed, provided for, and recover, so we are excited about prayer. Also, we believe God has big ears and can hear all of us pray at the same time - that’s different from some other places.

Spirit and Scripture, no Substitutes

We aren’t defined by traditions. If it’s not in the Bible, we don’t preach it. So you won’t hear pop-psychology, the news, creeds, personal preferences, politics, Ai commentary, mysticism, or ancient traditions over the pulpit. This might exclude some things you would normally expect in a church. We are really serious about the God’s Word being the highest Christian authority. We are friendly to modern Bible translations, but present scriptures using the KJV mostly.

You’re Going to Be Invited to Coffee, or Something

You don’t have to drink coffee, but we have all these awesome places to visit around Eagle River, and part of our culture is personal connection and service. The point is to answer your questions in a less formal space than church, and see if they can help you with answers from the Bible or prayer.
